LPD-1 (Integrated Materiel Distribution)

Mission Statement

Develop, plan, synchronize, and provide oversight for Marine Corps and DOD policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives in order to provide optimally effective integrated materiel distribution in support of the Marine Corps Operating Concept.

Integrated materiel distribution:  Combining methods and means of transportation into one effective system to deliver the right things to the right place at the right time to support the joint force commander.
