Lines of Effort

Logistics Plans and Operations Branch-2 leads Service-level logistics policy for Strategic Mobility and Global Positioning Network (GPN). LPO-2 serves as the 0430 Occupational Field (OccFld) Manager, functional advocate for the Sea Service Deployment Module, and advocates for Marine Corps equities regarding deployment and distribution across the Department of War. LPO-2 serves as the Budget/Program Objective Memorandum sponsor for funding requirements for the GPN; which consists of Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF), and Marine Corps Prepositioning Program Norway (MCPP-N) and Philippines (MCPP-Phil). LPO-2 coordinates tailoring and approval for War Reserve Programs materiel Approved Acquisition Objective. ​
