           EGEM Internal Controls             and Audit Readiness Team

The mission of the Internal Controls and Audit Readiness Team is to provide independent, objective assurances and assessments designed to add value and improve DC I&L's E-2-E supply chain and ground equipment management business process, operational activities, internal controls, and financial reporting compliance.  The Internal Controls and Audit Readiness Team assists Commanders in accomplishing their objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of their risk management, internal control, and governance processes.  It also provides an assessment of Commander's ability to meet property control compliance standards.
