MISSION

Members of the Marine Corps Small Business Enterprise foster procurement opportunities to leverage small business capability, innovation, speed and agility to enable the warfighter and support the needs of Marines, Sailors, and their families.

VISION

A culture of small business inclusiveness in Marine Corps procurements and recognition of the role of small businesses in advancing the Marine Corps’ capability and sustainability.

The Marine Corps recognizes the important link between a healthy industrial base and the needs of our warfighters. A healthy industrial base is predicated upon a viable and rigorous small business component. The Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Installations and Logistics, in his role as the Head of Contracting Activity, Headquarters Marine Corps, promotes and advances small business as the first option in Marine Corps procurement.

Small businesses, including service disabled veteran-owned, historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone), small disadvantaged and women-owned small business concerns, are a vital part of our economy and help to keep our country the strongest in the world. The Marine Corps is committed to our country’s small business community having the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the Marine Corps’ acquisition program as both prime contractors and subcontractors.
