Marines from the Recruit Adjustment and Motivation Program (R.A.M.P.) share their purpose for joining the United States Marine Corps, their struggles throughout Recruit Training, and motivation for other recruits who may be entering the program on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C. R.A.M.P. is used to remotivate or provide a sense of direction to recruits who appear to be able to overcome the challenges of recruit training, but are experiencing either self-doubt, a lack of motivation, or are falling behind their peers. The new Marines of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 1, 2023. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marines Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.

Pfc. Christopher Biondo, a native of Dousman, Wis., graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Training as the honor graduate of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Dec. 1, 2023, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California. Biondo was recruited by Staff Sgt. William Ray out of Marine Recruit Sub Station Menomonee Falls, Wis.
