The new Marines of Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 12th, 2025. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marines Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.

The U.S., allies and partner nation forces will be participating in exercise UNITAS LXVI, along the eastern coast of the United States, 10 Sept., 2025. UNITAS, which is Latin for “unity,” was conceived in 1959 and has taken place annually since first conducted in 1960. Alexander E. Goodno, the incoming commanding officer of MAG-13 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, Aug. 29, 2025.
