LPS Mission

Mission Statement

Serve as the Installations and Logistics (I&L) Advocate representative engaged in the planning phase of Combat Development and Integration’s (CD&I) Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution process through the Marine Corps Capabilities Based Assessment to oversee and nurture new and improved I&L capabilities. Sponsor and defend I&L equities in the Marine Corps Enterprise Integration Plan to include the Marine Corps Capabilities List, the Marine Corps Gap List, the Marine Corps Solutions Development Directive, and the Marine Corps Capabilities Investment Plan.


Serve as the I&L Advocate lead for the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) and influence logistics structure across the MAGTF and Supporting Establishment to maintain a balance of operational support and readiness. Use the Total Force Structure Process for the development and management of LCE Tables of Organization and Equipment, Mission Statements, Mission Essential Task Lists, and implementation of Service-level organization efforts that impact the LCE.


Coordinate and manage Tables of Organization and Equipment Change Requests in accordance with CD&I and respective HQMC Occupational Field Sponsors. Integrate logistics and LCE capabilities throughout the Marine Corps via engagement within the Total Force DOTMLPF (Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities) Working Group.
