As Assistant Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics (LP), Brigadier General Chalkley oversees the Logistics Division for the United States Marine Corps.
He was commissioned in May 1993 after graduating from Texas A&M University. He was designated as a Motor Transport Officer after completion of all training and later as a Logistics Officer upon merging of the Military Occupational Specialties.
